Our Chiropractic Clinic is called Barrett Spinal Care because by caring for an individual’s spine we are in effect caring for the foundation, and often overlooked component, of an individual’s health and well-being. One must understand that the spine houses the nervous system, which is the most important organ system in the body. Its job is to control and coordinate every cell, tissue and organ in our body! This means that it controls every movement we make, it allows us to sense and feel, it controls and regulates all body functions, and it relates us to the world around us. If your nervous system is not working optimally, due to spinal misalignments, this can cause a series of events which leads to injury, disease and illness. The upper cervical chiropractic correction removes these misalignments thereby removing interference to the nervous system, enhancing health and well-being.
